About meJamie

About Jamie.
Beyond the work.

I am Jamie, a student and developer known online as Lunarion. I am interested in creating useful, well-considered digital experiences, and my projects give me the opportunity to develop that interest through practical work.

01

Why I build

Practical work.
A personal perspective.

I value work that serves a clear purpose while reflecting the care and judgment of the person behind it.

My original site, Whale, presented a portfolio through a classic desktop layout. It included a notepad, calculator, and calendar. The project helped me develop my skills while exploring a more individual approach to web design.

Purpose in function.
Care in presentation.

I aim to balance practical usefulness with a distinctive visual identity, giving equal consideration to how a project works and how people experience it.

01

Stay curious.

Begin by understanding the purpose of a project. Explore the options, then test the approach through a focused initial version.

02

Keep learning.

Use each project to develop new skills, assess decisions, and identify opportunities for improvement.

03

Notice the details.

Consider the smaller decisions that shape the overall experience, from the clarity of a page to the consistency of its controls.

Continued learning.
Considered progress.

This portfolio will develop alongside my work. It provides a place to share projects, reflect on what I have learned, and connect with others.
